Sheffcare, the not for profit organisation that operates ten residential care homes across Sheffield, has appointed a new member to its board of trustees.

Fiona Miller has an extensive background in the criminal justice system and has experience in many social and third sector projects. “My interest has always been people from all social and cultural backgrounds,” Fiona said. “Having offered my support and knowledge to people at all stages of their lives, I am increasingly interested in the challenges facing an ageing population and am looking forward to being a voice and a champion for Sheffcare’s residents.”

Sheffield Chief Executive Belinda Black commented: “I am delighted to be able to welcome Fiona to our Board of Trustees. “She has exactly the breadth of experience and enthusiasm that will help our organisation as we move forward and extend our services beyond our residential homes and into the wider community.”
