HAWKHILLS - STANNINGTON

Hawkhills enjoys a wonderful, elevated setting looking out across the green Rivelin Valley to Loxley, yet has all the amenities of Stannington village only minutes away.

With 40 residential bedrooms with 15 of those specifically for Dementia and a small daycare centre, Hawkhills is built over three floors and is traditionally decorated in warm colours to create a homely, welcoming feel.

The bedrooms, are extremely comfortable, with space for small personal items of furniture and provide quiet and privacy, if required.

We find that most of our residents enjoy company, so there are dining rooms and sitting rooms on each level, providing the opportunity to eat, meet, socialise and watch television in small groups. After all, we are also a community where people make new friends and can relax in a safe and comfortable environment.

There is also a larger communal area on the ground floor where everyone gets together for entertainment, activities or just a chat. This all makes for a very sociable home, with much to enjoy and company or help when needed.

The garden has a large lawned area to the rear and a safe and secure patio area from which to enjoy the lovely surrounding views. There is also a sheltered seating area – a popular suntrap in summer at the front of the building where residents enjoy the fresh air and can watch the world go by.
