    Cotleigh was purpose-built in 2007 and is superbly equipped to support the highest levels of care.

    It has 62 very spacious bedrooms, all with ensuite, wheel chair accessible bathrooms or walk-in wet rooms. We also have specially adapted bathrooms for those residents that need extra help with bathing.

    The bedrooms are planned in four areas each with their own attractive dining rooms and cosy sitting rooms, providing the opportunity to eat, meet and socialise in smaller groups.

    The larger communal areas are a meeting point for residents, where everyone gets together to enjoy group activities and entertainments. Bingo and quizzes are always popular, but so too are our ‘trips down memory lane’, reminiscence sessions which include fascinating talks on old photographs of the Sheffield area, objects of interest and personal memories. This makes for a sociable, stimulating home where it is easy to find company or help when needed and just as easy to enjoy privacy and quiet time.

    Two of our units are specifically designed to offer a secure and supportive environment for those with dementia.

    Our fully trained staff have an in-depth understanding of dementia and adaptations have been made to the living environment to ensure that residents with dementia benefit from the enhanced environment.

    Cotleigh’s garden is a source of great pride and pleasure to us all. It has been specifically designed to offer access to residents with varying levels of mobility and is sheltered and beautifully planted. We have a number of raised beds which are easy to work in and our residents enjoy planting flowers, seeds and vegetables.

    It is also important to Sheffcare that we deliver value for money for our residents who fund their own care, we believe that we offer quality care at a very fair price and one that beats many other care home providers in the city. The weekly fee for residential care at Cotleigh Residential Home is £555 and the weekly fee for dementia care is £597.
